BREAKING: City orders "Occupy Vancouver" tents to come down

Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson says it's time for the Occupy Vancouver protest at the Art Gallery to end.

Shortly after appearing in a debate with NPA candidate Suzanne Anton on CKNW Radio this morning, Robertson told reporters that the city has issued an order for the tents to come down immediately.

However, protestors at the camp are vowing to stay put, so law enforcement and security professionals protecting businesses downtown are on high alert, in the wake of the riots that followed the Stanley Cup Finals. Read more
