Canadian IT security practices conflict: survey

What are Canadian governments and enterprises doing in the world of cyber-security post-recession? Not much evidently.

According to the “2010 Rotman-TELUS Joint Study on Canadian IT Security Practices”, 2010 saw Canadian security budgets remain below 2008 levels, in effect carrying over the austerity measures implemented in 2009 that resulted in average budget cuts of 10 per cent. Read more
